aubaade & niyimi

Saturday, January 17, 2026

for this evening aubaade and niyimi will take over the decks, each inviting you into their own world of sound.

Aubaade - Kiēn Denier is a Vietnamese–French artist. Their work traces architectures of support and collapse, where objects and bodies hover between intention and contingency, held in states of partial coherence. Across moving image and sound, and through their alias Aubaade, they compose unfolding environments where perceptual thresholds become central. Their sets function as liminal spaces, guiding listeners on an inward journey from hell to heaven and back.

Expect doom jazz, synth ambient, field recordings, mumbling melodies, ballads, noise, and industrial textures.

niyimi - Naomi Hettiarachchige Hubèrt is an Amsterdam-based artist and graphic designer. Her practice questions how hegemonic Western belief systems permeate the everyday, from intimacy and memory to the collective subconscious. Activated through fabulative storytelling, her work spans text, moving– and graphic image, performance and sound. Extending into niyimi, her sets function as portals into textured, dreamlike mindscapes. Drawing from ambient, experimental, and deconstructed club sound, alongside field recordings, low-fidelity internet rips, and vocal fragments, listening becomes a mode of travel.
