ambu bambu & lis come together creating a night that stretches across textures and tempos behind the decks.
Ambu Bambu
A soft spoken personality with a musical vision and creativity that screams. Hear me, feel me, move with me. Ambu Bambu’s music tells emotional stories of wanting to belong, yet fated to a destiny of floating in between. Urgent and rhythmic, with the occasional moment of lightness and release, their selections and productions span realms from breakbeat and bass, to dubbed-out fuzziness and oddball house and techno tracks just weird enough to make you doubt their genres.
Outside of the club, Ambu Bambu is building a world consisting of ambient and experimental electronica through their radio concept Electronic Identity Crisis and their newest endeavor fruit salad - a platform for mixes and multi-sensory gatherings for fruities and cuties. The studio is a playground for exploring their darker side; painting up warped breaks, bass-heavy trips, and dizzying rhythms in a signature sound.
lis
lis is an interdisciplinary creator based in Amsterdam. Whether it’s a DJ set, Live set, or Hybrid. She enjoys the mix of different machinery to build unfamiliar rythms within IDM, bass & ambient electronica.
She is the founder of Epiphany Records and Epiphany Agency, and is constantly working behind and in front of the scenes in nightlife.
'Epiphany Records/Agency is an FLINTA* electronica label & Agency dedicated to unconventional sound and art, creating a platform for experimental electronic music and eclectic performances. The label seeks to cultivate a space where unconventional approaches to music, art, and performance converge, bringing together diverse FLINTA* artists who explore the intersections of sound and space’
