On June 25, 1975, Mozambique, a country located on the southwestern coast of Africa, became independent after a long struggle against Portuguese colonial rule. The fight for independence became a symbol of resilience, unity and cultural pride.
Mozambican cuisine reflects its history, it's people and centuries of cultural exchange. Influences from Portuguese, Indian and Arab traditions can be found throughout it's gastronomy.
To honor those who fought for liberation and to celebrate the identity of Mozambique, we have created a menu inspired by the country's rich gastronomy and culture.
